During the eighties and nineties, Jaya Prada was one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood. Having created a niche for herself, this South Indian beauty was part of many hit films.
However, slowly the actress faded into oblivion and was not seen on the silver screen for a while. Her last Hindi film was the Sanjay Dutt starrer Tathastu which released three years back. Since then the actress turned MP has been busy with her various social and political commitments.
However, now Jaya Prada is all set to make a comeback of sorts to the silver screen. The actress would be seen in the much talked about Indo-Chinese film The Desire which stars Shilpa Shetty. Jaya plays Shilpa's mother in the film and is also an Odissi dancer.
