Bollywood’s all a flutter over Kaminey! Actors and filmmakers are actors are praising the film as “edgy and cool” and director Vishal Bharadwaj as a “genius".
Says Karan Johar, “Kaminey is edgy... cult and ‘geniusely’ performed and executed! Go get a shot of new age cinema and cinematic bravery! More power to you Vishal!”
Uday Chopra, too, tweets, “Kaminey was rocking. A film experience that cannot be missed.. Priyanka and Shahid both have given outstanding performances — go see it!”
His Pyar Impossible co-star Priyanka Chopra also comes out to thank him and Dino Morea, who says, “Vishal Bharadwaj is a genius filmmaker ... loved his film, brought out brilliant performances. Dhan ta tan!”
Chopra added that it’s been a hectic few weeks and “Now with Kaminey releasing in Mumbai too, some relief! Phew!”
Her Dostana director Tarun Mansukhani also “loved it... it was new... cool... edgy...” He remarks, tongue-in-cheek, “In short.. it was fimply fuperb!”
Kaminey stars Priyanka and Shahid Kapoor in the lead, with Shahid playing a double role, as a twin who lisps and the other who stammers. The cast includes Amole Gupte, who wrote Taare Zameen Par.
