Aamir Khan, who was in the US with wife Kiran Rao attending the Sundance Film Festival, arrived in Mumbai today morning to attend his father Tahir Hussain’s funeral. Aamir reached his Bandra residence around 2pm in the afternoon and went straight inside his house without any interaction with the media.
He came out of the house after sometime and shared, “It was just fortunate that we could reach here just in time. The US is very strict with the flight departures and so a friend helped us get on a flight to Hong Kong and from Hong Kong to Mumbai.”
Meanwhile, Aamir’s ex-wife Reena made up for his absence by being present in Bandra since morning. She was accompanied by son Junaid, daughter Ira and her parents.
