Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has reiterated his love for India, where he is involved in various ventures like a clothing line, modeling assignments, a television deal and Bollywood roles.
"I have a passion for India and I always feel very welcome every time I go over there," the Dominion Post quoted Lee, as saying.
"It's a place that I've visited upwards of 40 times," he added.
When asked if he was surprised by how his music and acting career has taken off in India, the 34-year-old said: "Yeah, but it's exciting as well because the Indian people love cricketers."
Lee had earlier said that his main goal was to be selected in the national squad for next year's World Cup in the Indian subcontinent.
"With my love for India and love for the Indian culture, the chance to play over there - World Cup, 50-over cricket - it's the cream of the crop as far as one-day cricket tournaments go," the right-arm fast bowler had said.
"It would be great to be a part of that. That's what I'm aiming at - definitely," he added. (ANI)
