A cross-section of distributors, exhibitors and trade analysts has concluded that Shah Rukh Khan's 'RA.One' deserves the tag of the most eagerly awaited film of the year. This is the conclusion of a survey conducted by a national daily on January 1, 2011. According to the same survey, next comes Reema Kagti's suspense related stories. The curiosity surrounding 'RA.One' is attributed to Shah Rukh's absence from cinemas after 'My Name Is Khan' in February 2010 and the fact that it's one of this year's Diwali releases. Trade analyst Komal Nahta says that the film has kept Shah Rukh on his toes and that it is his most ambitious project so far and one of the most expensive films ever made in Bollywood.
When asked how come director Kagti's film is the second most awaited film, it was said that it has become the talk of the town because Aamir Khan, apart from playing the lead, is also co-producing it. Suniel Wadhwa, a distributor from the Central Province, believes that the actor's entry in the suspense thriller genre has added to the trade's eagerness for the release of the project. Hopefully, the survey's report would come true.
