Vipul To Do 'Namastey London' Sequel

Following the debacle of Action Replayy, director-producer Vipul Shah is planning to revive the story of Jazz and Arjun in a sequel of Namastey London.

The 2007 hit was a romcom drama about a Punjabi boy (Akshay Kumar) wooing and winning over a stuck-up British-Asian girl (Katrina Kaif).

"We are in the process of scripting. Akshay was keen to do a sequel to Namastey London. He felt the story has the potential to be carried forward. I am happy that we are doing it. Also, I feel if the story allows to take it forward then one must go for sequel," Vipul told PTI.

When asked if the sequel will have the original stars, Vipul said, "We would finalise it soon once we are done with the script."

According to reports, the sequel will carry forward the story of Arjun played by Akshay Kumar and Jazz played by Katrina Kaif into a marriage of inconvenience and the trials they face.

When asked about the sequel, Katrina told PTI, "I have no idea... have heard about from media."
