Director Kapil Sharma wants to make a tribute to iconic actress Rekha, in a film that portrays the life of the actress. Even today, many look up to Rekha for her excellence and style.
Kapil is said to have finished working on the script, and the story will highlight upon her struggles, and will unravel her mysteries and controversies with Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Vinod Mehra and Kiran Kumar.
Rekha started acting in films in the 1970s and the turning point in her career came in 1976 with the movie Do Anjaane in which she starred with Amitabh Bachchan, starting a long successful on-screen partnership between the two actors.
Through her career, Rekha was involved in many controversies, none bigger than the one linking her to Big B, with many rumors of the two in the media.
Rekha sure has had her ups and downs, and first-time director Kapil Sharma wants to capture pieces of her life in his film. The film is tentatively titled Sitaare.
Surely does sound like a very interesting movie!
