He started his acting career with TV serials like Circus and Fauji. Now, having ruled the roost in Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan is returning to TV serials again with a small role in the Color’s serial Sasural Simar Ka.
The show stars actress Deepika Samson as the protagonist Simar, who wants to be an ace dancer but faces opposition from her family. So she takes part in the reality dance show ‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom’ keeping her identity secret. Shahrukh Khan plays one of the judges on the show.
King Khan recently shot for the serial at this residence Mannat in Bandra.
Deepika Samson, an ardent Shahrukh fan, was nervous and excited while shooting with SRK.
“It was a lifetime experience to shoot or be around SRK. I froze when I saw Shah Rukh. He made me feel so comfortable. I keep pinching myself to believe that I shot with him,” Samson is quoted as saying by a news agency.
Apparently, Shahrukh was impressed by the serial’s storyline and agreed to do a cameo in it.
