Ever since the news of Aamir Khan playing a wrestler on screen came out, Nitesh Tiwari's Dangal has been the talk of the town. Be it Aamir's character or his weight gain for the film or the actors signed to play his on screen daughters, Dangal has grabbed eyeballs. Known to be Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, who has gained 30 kg to step into the shoes of a wrestler, has finally reached Ludhiana to begin shooting for the film.
The actor has undergone a tremendous transformation for his upcoming film Dangal. The PK actor has put on a lot of weight to get into the character of a wrestler, as Dangal is loosely based on the life wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.
The Nitesh Tiwari directorial has Aamir play the role of the wrestler who trained his two daughters Geeta and Babita in wrestling. The two girls went on to win the gold and silver medal in the sport at the 2010 Commonwealth games held in India. Aamir met Bigg Boss 8 winner Gautam Gulati on his flight to Ludhiana. Gulati shared a selfie with Aamir on Instagram and wrote that the plus-size actor is apparently having trouble in breathing because of the weight gain.
