Diluted version of 'Delhi Belly' for TV audience

'Delhi Belly' may be talked about for various reasons, including the colorful language used by the characters in this film, but television viewers will see a diluted version of the film, when it premieres on TV in the near future. In fact, the actors of the film, including the principal cast, have already dubbed their lines for the TV version of the film.

“That's true. You can keep a check on audiences when they visit theatres. But can you hold back kids from watching a film when it's aired on TV? That's why we decided to go easy on the dialogue of the film and get them dubbed all over again,” said 'Delhi Belly' director Abhinay Deo.

Incidentally, not many are aware that Aamir was keen on dubbing this Hinglish film in four Indian languages -- Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Bhojpuri. While the film was dubbed in Hindi, the plans to dub in Tamil and Telugu were aborted subsequently, since Aamir's friends associated with the South industry informed him that the Hinglish version would suffice. “But the plans of not dubbing the film in Bhojpuri remains a mystery,” said Abhinay Deo.

Jacqueline Fernandez wants to work with Aamir, Ranbir

After the recent success of 'Murder 2', newbie actress Jacqueline Fernandez has her eyes set on Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor as her next co-stars.

Jacqueline, who made her Bollywood debut with the 2009 release 'Aladin' opposite Ritesh Deshmukh, is now aiming high.

“I would like to act with Aamir Khan or Ranbir Kapoor next,” said Jacqueline, when asked by a fan which Bollywood actor she would like to work with, during a telephonic chat on Airtel Talk2Me.

The 26-year-old's sizzling look in 'Murder 2' has made a mark and when a fan said that she had to expose in the sequel because Mallika Sherawat had done so in the original movie, Jacqueline said, 'I agree'.

With no godfather in the industry and still struggling to master Hindi, Jacqueline said it does get tough at times to survive in Bollywood.

“It is a difficult place to be in, but if you keep going and keep a level head, you will be fine,” she said.

On being asked by a fan that there are speculations of another 'Murder' movie in the making and whether she'll be a part of it, Jacqueline said, “I don't think Murder as a brand and as a franchise can repeat its female leads. Like Mallika wasn't repeated in Murder 2.”

“It generates a lot of curiosity and buzz around the movie to know who the next female lead would be. For 'Murder' as a brand, it would be nicer to see a new girl in the next movie. So, I don't think I'll be part of 'Murder 3' but I hope it will also do good because it is such a great production team,” she added.

The actress has other sequels in her kitty, including 'Housefull 2' and 'Raaz 3'.

Hum Dono is a must watch says Salman

Dev Anand release Hum Dono (1961) has been re-released in colors titled Hum Dono Rangeen. The film had it grand premier at one of the leading multiplexes in India. The premier saw a lot of Bollywood Biggies starting from Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Govinda, etc.

Actor Salman Khan after watching Hum Dono starring Dev Anand in double role, opposite yesteryear Bollywood beauties, Sadhana and Nanda, wrote on his micro-blogging site, “Must must must watch Hum Dono.”


In return Dev Anand thanked everybody who made it to the premier of his film, “I thank Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Govinda, Imtiyaz Ali, Faisal, Sunny Deol, Dharam (Dharmendra), Shatru (Shatrugan Sinha), Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Ashutosh Gowariker, Aditya Kapoor, Sanjay Khan, Naseer.”

Dev Saab who has a passionate heart when it comes to filmmaking also thanked, “Uddhav Thackrey his family, Adnan, Ketan Desai and all my friends and sorry if I missed any names but love you all.”

Dev Saab also mentioned that he missed his beautiful co-actresses at the premier of Hum Dono Rangeen, “I missed Sadhana and Nanda very much I was very keen to invite them but they couldn't make it.”

He wrote to Lata Mangeskar saying that she should have been their for the films premiers, “Lataji I wish you were there to see the colored screening of Hum Dono to see your Bhajans in color and hear your voice in Dolby 6.1.”


Dev Anand praising Asha Bhosle and her magical voice wrote to her, “Ashaji I was expecting you and through your voice you have magically put so much romance in abhi na jao chodkar.... Great versatile voice and the other Jahan me aisa kaun hai, another philosophical song.”
