John loves both Bipasha and bikes

Dostana, New York, Jhootha Hi Sahi etc. He is also known for his love for bikes and his penchant for collecting the fastest bike. In fact recently there were reports about him owning a bike which was specially made for him. The bike is exactly styled and design as he wanted by assembling all the parts.

He even recently in a tele-show confessed his love for bike and narrated an incident to the viewers. He said that once when he was giving his girl friend Bipasha Basu a lift on his bike he had asked her to be careful with her heels lest they would make scratches on his bike. After when she was getting close to him while the ride he told her to sit back lest the helmet would get scratched. Bips got very offended and got off the bike and asked him to leave saying that she would manage home on her own! However, his passion for his bikes has never come on the way of John and Bipasha relationship. The two are still one of the greatest couples in Bollywood.

In fact, Bipasha on his birthday posted a very rare and cute picture of little John on twitter with a message reading this cute kid’s birthday is on the 17th of December and he has grown up to be a very handsome man. As John has not opened his own twitter handle, Bipasha has even thanked everyone on John’s behalf for wishing him on his birthday.

John Abraham plays a nerd in 'Jhootha Hi Sahi'

Mumbai, Aug 18 (IANS) John Abraham is set to surprise his fans with his new avatar. Forget the itsy-bitsy swimming trunks from 'Dostana', the actor actually slouches and shuffles his way through 'Jhootha Hi Sahi' and will even be seen sporting a paunch.

The film is directed by Abbas Tyrewala and John says his look in the film is 'very different and not something anyone has seen me in before'.

'From a Greek to a geek, long journey I think,' said John.

Said Tyrewala: 'This is a side to John that no one has seen. He's painfully ordinary in speech, body language and clothes. He wears thick glasses and can't look straight into anyone's eyes.'

The clothes for John's character were bought off the rack from departmental stores.

'Yup, no designer clothes for John in 'Jhootha Hi Sahi'. We shopped for his clothes in retail outlets, actually purchased working class labels like Arrow and Raymonds,' said the director.

Naturally, stripping for the camera would seem like the last thing on the character's mind. But hang on! John's nerdy character does take off his clothes in 'Jhootha Hi Sahi'.

'And when he does strip, boy does it come as a shock,' laughed the director. When John disrobes, fans would be shocked to see a little paunch peeping out.

'John wanted to put on a lot more weight. I decided against overdoing it. Those who are used to seeing his chiselled body would be shocked by the absence of contours when he strips,' said Tyrewala.

John climbs billboard to unveil 'Jhootha Hi Sahi' first look

Mumbai, Aug 13 (IANS) Actor John Abraham Friday climbed up a billboard to unveil the first look of his forthcoming film 'Jhootha Hi Sahi'.

The billboard in question was at a height equivalent to a four storey building. John was very thrilled at the chance of doing such an adventurous stunt. So he suggested that he should do the unveiling without any safety gear.

The producers Saregama, Madhu Mantena and director Abbas Tyrewala refused to take such a big risk and were very firm on John doing the event with all the safety precautions in place.

'The unveiling of the film was a thrilling experience, different from the usual unveilings I've done in the past,' said John

But the surprises didn't end there - the first look of 'Jhootha Hi Sahi' was such that no one could recognise John. His look in the film is very different. So to show that it was really him in the picture and not another photoshopped miracle, John actually donned his look from the film. By wearing a shirt with glasses.

Commenting on his look, he said: 'My look in the film is very different and not something anyone has seen me in before. 'Jhootha Hi Sahi' is an amazing film and I'm very excited about it. Abbas Tyrewala has done an awesome job.'
